Terms of Service
The legal framework governing the use of FixZipFile’s automated archive reconstruction services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FixZipFile.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Description and Scope of Service
FixZipFile provides automated tools that analyze damaged archive files (including ZIP, RAR, and 7Z formats) and attempt structural reconstruction of detectable file entries.
The Service operates strictly on a best-effort basis. No guarantee is made regarding full recovery, file usability, data completeness, or successful extraction.
The Service does not perform password recovery, decryption, brute-force operations, or encryption bypass under any circumstances.
3. Preview and Service Reference
Prior to purchase, the Service may present a preview of detected file names, directory entries, or structural indicators.
This preview represents the maximum identifiable metadata available at scan time and serves solely as a reference point — not a guarantee of successful reconstruction, file integrity, or content usability.
Differences between previewed entries and final output caused by corruption severity, truncation, or binary damage are considered normal technical limitations of archive recovery.
4. Payments and Merchant of Record
All payments are processed by an authorized third-party payment provider acting as the Merchant of Record.
FixZipFile does not collect, store, or process payment card data. Billing, taxation, refunds, and payment compliance are handled exclusively by the payment provider under their respective terms and policies.
5. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
Refunds are evaluated strictly based on whether the delivered archive reasonably corresponds to the previewed file list — not on subjective satisfaction, expectations of usability, or success of third-party extraction tools.
6. Manual Recovery Assistance
In certain cases, FixZipFile may, at its sole discretion, offer manual recovery assistance as a complimentary goodwill service.
Manual assistance is not guaranteed, does not constitute an additional paid service, and does not alter refund eligibility or Service obligations.
7. User Responsibilities
- You confirm that you own or are legally authorized to process the uploaded files.
- You agree not to upload illegal content, malware, or data you are not authorized to access.
- You acknowledge that recovered files may be incomplete, corrupted, or unusable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixZipFile and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including data loss, corruption, or business interruption.
9. Privacy
Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details automated processing and data deletion practices.
